Via the Clerk Bio: When a vacancy arose on the council, I applied and was co-opted in 2023. I felt I had to contribute formally to the community where I have lived for 26 years. I have served on the Playing Field and Neighbourhood Plan Committee. Aso, I am an active member of the Community Speed Watch Group and would encourage all residents to join in on the task to influence the checking of traffic through our parish. I am the nominated defibrillator monitor for both units situated in Scopwick and Kirkby Green. This involves monthly maintenance checks and component part replacements when required. I am determined to see that Scopwick and Kirkby Green isn't overlooked when it comes to obtaining funding for Parish infrastructure improvements. With the rest of the Parish Council, I want to see the Parish maintained at a high level for all residents. |
